In 2018-2019, Lanzini & Sons remodeled University AME Zion Church in Palo Alto, California. The work brought painting, flooring and pew restoration together with a raised media booth, sanctuary furnishings and new front doors.
Ceiling painting and floor work
We gave the church a total repaint and installed new carpeting. The painting included the high ceiling, where our crew worked from scaffolding. We also completely refinished the existing pews.

A raised media booth near the entrance
We built a raised wooden platform for the sound and media operators near the front doors, with an enclosing rail made to match the church’s existing furnishings. The booth separated the equipment and working area from the congregation and gave operators enough height to see over the pews.
New sanctuary furniture was also part of the remodel.

Doors and entrance frame
We fabricated and installed eight-foot custom front doors. The entrance work also included door-frame repairs and refinishing, along with custom hardware.
Our church interior renovation work also includes All Saints Anglican Cathedral in Long Beach, where we designed marble work and brass communion rails.
