In 2019, Lanzini & Sons carried out pew maintenance at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California. The white oak pews had dirt, scratches and wear in their clear finish from ordinary use.

Cleaning and repairing the existing finish

We cleaned the wood surfaces by hand and repaired scratches and damaged areas of the existing clear finish.

We renewed the outer protective coating with a spray gun and repaired kneeler hardware as part of the job.

Our historical church interior work includes a different pew project at Covenant Reformed Church of Sacramento, where we refinished the wood and adapted the pews for new seat cushions.

Project location: Notre Dame de Namur University campus, 1500 Ralston Avenue, Belmont, CA 94002.
