In 2023, Lanzini & Sons repaired, repainted and reinstalled the complete set of plaster Stations of the Cross at Corpus Christi Parish in Tahoe City, California.
The Stations had been finished in white. The parish wanted color and a more wood-like appearance. We repaired the existing plaster and changed the paint scheme to give the scenes that character, then reinstalled the set in the church.
Our Stations of the Cross work includes projects focused on an entire set, as well as Stations within a larger interior restoration. At St. Anne’s in Porterville, the Stations were part of a project that also included the reredos and decorative wall painting.
