In 2022, Lanzini & Sons restored all the pews at Covenant Reformed Church of Sacramento, California. The job included refinishing the wood, repairing damage and adapting the pews for new seat cushions.
Pews
Before
After
We took the pews down to bare wood, repaired damaged areas and removed scratches, then applied a new finish.
The pews had not originally been designed for cushions. We modified them to accept new seat cushions, with new fabric supplied and installed as part of the work.
This project is part of our historical church interior work. At University AME Zion Church in Palo Alto, pew refinishing was included in a larger remodel with painting and custom furnishings.
Project location: Covenant Reformed Church of Sacramento, 2020 16th Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95822.
